The PI3 (phosphatidylinositol-3) kinase/Akt (protein kinase B) signal pathway is involved in
the molecular signaling that regulates retrograde axonal transport of neurotrophins in the
nervous system. Previous work showed that a reduced retrograde axonal transport of
