Neuromyelitis optica-immunoglobulin G (NMO-IgG) binds to aquaporin-4 (AQP4) water
channels in the central nervous system leading to immune-mediated injury. We have
previously demonstrated that a high proportion of CSF plasma cells of NMO patients
