Isolation of monocytes by plastic adherence alters cell morphology and function. In order to
study the effects of cell isolation procedures and subsequent culture on monocyte function,
we examined cytoplasmic calcium concentration changes (Δ [Ca2+] in) in human monocytes
isolated by either negative (magnetic bead) or positive (plastic adherence) selection then
